Alex Pole Ironwork was established in 2006 to deliver high quality, functional products for the home and garden. It has slowly evolved over the years and now specialises in hand-forged kitchenware and utensils. All work is forged by hand, using only traditional techniques and, wherever possible, materials that are sourced from the local area.
Using a process called spinning to make the pans results in a very smooth and naturally non-stick finish. They will need regular re-seasoning to maintain the surface, but they are quick to heat up have good heat distribution that gives a really great cook. Even better, the more the pan is used the better it will perform.
All Alex Pole pans and skillets are pre-seasoned with rapeseed oil and baked to give a sealed finish making them ready to use. Made from carbon steel that great heat retention and suitable for use on Induction, Gas, Electric, Open Fire or in the Oven, but are not suitable for dishwashers.
