Small Crucible, Vivid Yellow

by Luke Eastop

  • Materials: Clay
  • Diameter: 120mm / 4 3/4″
  • Height: 85mm / 3 3/8″

Luke Eastop is a ceramicist with a background in the creative arts. His work explores the basic qualities of material and form through pared-down geometric pieces made in a range of experimental clay bodies. He started making ceramics in the studio of his late grandfather, British ceramicist Geoffrey Eastop, and has since established his own practise in Margate, Kent.

Thrown in a blended clay with a clear glazed interior. All pieces are thrown on a wheel in a unique palette of clays and fired to high temperature. Sizes may vary as all bowls are made individually.

Handmade in Margate, UK
