The Cob Decanter reflects a city dwellers’ imagined west country idyll: something of humble beauty, fitting and useful within the landscape of your everyday table.
Leaning on his years of experience Michael hand-crafts the Cob Decanters in his south London glassblowing workshop, where production is limited to a handful of pieces per day and all are made from pure, optical-quality recycled glass, whilst we make the solid walnut stopper in our Dorset workshop using offcuts from our bespoke furniture design.
The Cob Decanter is the second design for ‘EDITION by Another Country’, a new initiative that celebrates the process of creating through the designing, collaborating or commissioning of small batch, hand-produced objects for every day use. The objects are only be available for purchase in the store.

Our products are made to order in our workshops in the UK and Portugal. Furniture items currently have a 12-week lead time because of delays caused by the coronavirus pandemic, although some items are in stock and can arrive faster. This is indicated against each product as you select your option (this is also where we update the lead time). If you have specific requirements for delivery and would like to know if your order can be delivered sooner, please do contact us.
