The 2nd Edition of our inspirational, travel book for design-conscious travellers. Cornwall by Weekend Journals is the definitive guide to exploring the fairest English county. This 2nd Edition includes 16 new venues, as well as 27 updated features. The Weekend Journals team have uncovered the most special places from boutique hotels to prestigious galleries, independent shops to recently-opened restaurants.
The book is written by Milly Kenny-Ryder and produced by Simon Lovell. They both have strong family links to Cornwall and have been visiting with their families since they were young. Using these connections they have travelled off the beaten track to discover the newest venues that the locals love, while also showcasing some of Cornwall’s most iconic sites and stories.
This 2nd Edition also adds new, exclusive interviews with Tresco Abbey Garden Curator, Mike Nelhams, and founder of Finisterre, Tom Kay.
Photography is by Gabriel Kenny-Ryder and is exclusive to Weekend Journals.
All venues have been visited personally.

Our products are made to order in our workshops in the UK and Portugal. Furniture items can take between 7-8 weeks to arrive with you (possibly longer before and after the summer holiday closure and Christmas), although some items are in stock and can arrive faster. This is indicated against each product as you select your option (this is also where we update the lead time). If you have specific requirements for delivery and would like to know if your order can be delivered sooner, please do contact us.
Our mission is to be a responsible, purposeful and useful company that is fit for the 21st century, and our ambition is to sell our sustainably made furniture to as many people as possible.
To do this, we strive to strike the right balance between craft and industry.
