Perfect for casually reclining on, perching on, or even getting a full eight hours sleep on - don't let the elegant lines of the Series Two Day Bed fool you; this is a tirelessly functional piece of furniture.
A slatted wooden base floats atop graceful brass legs and supports a mattress encased in Belgian van Maele linen that is temptingly soft. The slender outline of the Day Bed is a nod towards the refined style of mid-century Scandinavian furniture, whilst the carefully crafted grade pale ash and beautiful brass detailing is characteristic of Another Country's coveted Series Two collection.

Care & assembly
For instructions on how to assemble your day bed two, please download the assembly instructions. We finish our Series Two furniture range with a traditional wood oil finish followed by wax, applied by even application to the timber planks. This finish seals the pores of the timber, enhancing the natural structure of the wood and forming a water repellent protection against everyday wear and tear. Download the care instructions.
With regard to the upholstery items, weekly light vacuuming is desirable to remove dirt and dust particles and greatly extends the life of the fabric. Under conditions of normal wear, annual or semi- annual cleaning will preserve and enhance wool/woolblend upholstery. Never use soap, ammonia, bleach or other cleaners intended for use on hard surfaces. Do not rush or panic, but work patiently and thoroughly. If the stain cannot be identified or removed, seek expert advice from a reputable dry cleaning organisation.
Everything we sell, including our mattresses, is handmade using superb materials and time-honoured techniques that ensure a product that will last a lifetime. Download the warranty.
We can adapt the furniture designs in our Series Two collection to meet your specific requirements. Need a longer day bed? A bigger table? Would you like one of our designs in a different wood? Let us know how we can make Series Two work harder for you. Bespoke commissions are subject to a design fee. Material requirements will be calculated on a project by project basis. firstname.lastname@example.org
