Mark+Fold was founded in 2015 by Amy Cooper-Wright, to create an alternative to overly adorned stationery where shelf-appeal is placed before quality of workmanship and functionality. The result is a range of timeless luxury notebooks, exercise books and cards.
The Mark Two is a classic tan notebook with flexible lay-flat binding and thumbcut detail. It contains 112 pages of exceptionally good quality, smooth paper, lined and suitable for fountain pens. The cover is made from 35% cotton, and develops a natural patina with use.
They use a special binding technique combining thread-sewing and cold glue, to retain flexibility in the spine. The result is as durable as it is elegant, and the book opens beautifully flat (180 degrees) without force.
Each notebook is individually numbered, and includes batch information (where, when and how many were made)
Paper milled in Scotland.
