Named for the small Essex town of Coggeshall, this blanket has a delicate pattern of large scale blocks and stripes. The face is woven in a chalk ground with fine dotted rust blocks and baler twine blue stripes; and the reverse is a ground of fine dotted rust with chalk blocks and estate green stripes. Fine score-lines runs across the surface of the blanket creating a subtle ribbed texture.
