Series Five at Clerkenwell Design Week May 21-23

Clerkenwell Design Week 2024 saw us introduce our new Series Five collection, the first ‘numbered’ series since 2017. The new collection pays homage to and draws inspiration from the Arts & Crafts movement. The design is a nod to the ethos of the movement, its respect for material integrity over decoration, its love of nature and its commitment to craftsmanship. Whilst we live in different times to that of the practitioners of the Art & Crafts movement, there are nonetheless parallels between our modern-day efforts to engage with nature much more holistically and to seek out honestly crafted items as an antidote to our digital world.

The centrepiece of the collection is a pill-shaped refectory-style dining table with generously proportioned edges and careful detailing, designed together with a bench that neatly tucks between the table legs, offering a welcoming, timeless, and comfortable table to gather round.

The launch collection also includes an upholstered stool and barstool, designs which playfully pay homage to the traditional stools found in British pubs to this day.
