Planted Country June 9-11

We are retuning to Stourhead later this week for the second edition of Planted Country in partnership with the National Trust from 9 – 11 June.

We are showcasing a selection of our work together with some of the UK’s leading nature-based businesses and alongside environmentally focused workshops, installations, and a nine-part talks programme titled ‘Cool Design, Sustainable Futures’.

Built on the principles of biophilic (nature-based) design and running in conjunction with the Great Big Green Week, Planted Country will bring together leading thinkers from the design, food production, farming and environmental community to present a greener and more equitable future.

Our presence in 2022 celebrated the made-in-Dorset Purbeck Coffee Table, along with the Modern Farmhouse Chair, Stool One and a Hardy Barstool (see below). This year we are presenting the new Welwyn Sofa launched last month at Clerkenwell Design Week, a Series One dining table with Hardy Chairs, the Davenport Sideboard and our recently launched House Lamp made of English elm and hemp.

Planted Country is free to attend for National Trust members and children. For Non-National Trust members, tickets are £7 in advance or £12 on the door. Purchased tickets for Planted Country will give non-National Trust members access to the event only, including all the talks, workshops and demonstrations.

Address: Stourhead, near Mere, Wiltshire, BA12 6QD.
